Pharmacy Education Program
The Purdue Pharmacy Education Program (PEP) is a residential summer orientation program designed to welcome first-generation or low-income students to the university, and is inclusive to all rising Purdue Pharmacy freshmen during the summer months. This program helps students acclimate to college life while earning up to nine course credits. Participating students take classes, engage with current pharmacy students, and acclimate to living the pharm life.
Program Details
- The program is five weeks, starting in early July and ending in early August
- Students earn up to nine course credits
- There is no additional cost to participate in PEP within collaboration with the Early Start Program
- PEP will pay the remaining cost for Purdue’s Early Start Program after all aid and scholarships have been applied for students who are first generation or low-income. This includes tuition, fees, housing and a meal plan consisting of 13 meals per week throughout the program.
