Purpose of the Intellectual Property and Data Ownership Policy
To provide Rx-SafeNet leadership with guidance on the rules and regulations governing the ownership of all research data and intellectual property generated as a result of research conducted under the umbrella of Rx-SafeNet.
Source of Policy
In alignment with Purdue University and Indiana University Policy governing Intellectual Property, the same rules shall govern the actions of Rx-SafeNet as related to ownership of research data and intellectual property. The Purdue policy cited is Purdue University Policy VIII.4.1 and is publicly accessible on the Internet:

Any conflict between the Purdue University policy and the Indiana University policy will be resolved by an authorized representative of each University.
