Welcome Home
Welcome home, Pharmacy Family. As you know, Purdue Pharmacy is a special place—and that’s in large part because of your dedication to student success, groundbreaking research, and patient care.

How You Can Get Involved
Purdue College of Pharmacy graduates not only go on to employ their education in successful careers that better the world they live in, they also become part of a vast international network of dedicated alumni. Without the support of loyal graduates like you, we simply wouldn’t be able to maintain the College of Pharmacy’s status as a world-class program.
There are many ways you can help contribute to the ongoing success of your alma mater. One way is to make a financial donation to the Purdue College of Pharmacy. You also may donate your time and expertise to help further the future of the Purdue College of Pharmacy and its current students. There are a variety of ways to do this:
Mentoring Opportunities
Getting involved with a pharmacy student organization is a great way to not only share your experience and knowledge with bright, promising pharmacy students, but also to carry on the legacy of Purdue’s excellence in education. The College of Pharmacy has over twenty student organizations. There are plenty of mentoring opportunities available at these organizations, or if you’d prefer to make a shorter-term commitment, you can volunteer to be a guest speaker at a specific meeting or event.
Advisory Opportunities
The Dean’s Advisory Council
Members of this council advise the Purdue College of Pharmacy on emerging trends in health care, the pharmaceutical industry, and related fields. They also will serve as supporters and advocates for the College and its programs.
Minority Advocacy Council
Graduates of the pharmacy program and University alumni are selected to serve as members of the council providing assistance and counsel to the Purdue College of Pharmacy on issues and concerns affecting African American, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American students enrolled in Pre-Pharmacy and Pharmacy programs.
Pharmacy Women for Purdue
In August, 2008, the Pharmacy Women for Purdue (PWFP) program was established as an extension of the University’s Women for Purdue initiative. The goal of PWFP is to provide an opportunity for Pharmacy alumni to support programs that advance women in pharmacy careers and celebrate the contributions that alumni of the College have made, inside and outside of Purdue. If you are a Pharmacy alumna and would like more information about PWFP, please contact us at pharmacy-dev@purdue.edu or call (765) 494-1370.
Preceptor Opportunities
Precepting students is both challenging and rewarding. Purdue preceptors contribute to the education and mentoring of PharmD students while building relationships with Purdue faculty and alumni. They are invited to special events and provided continuing education (both free and discounted). PharmD students contribute to the site and to pharmacy services offered. Click here to learn more.
