Friends of Pharmacy
On the Purdue College of Pharmacy Centennial in 1984, the faculty implemented an awards program to honor alumni and friends who have had truly outstanding careers or supported the college in highly significant ways. To that end, we instituted the Friend of Pharmacy Award. This award recognizes an individual or individuals who are alumni or non-alumni, for continuous, thoughtful contributions to college growth and success through ongoing service and support of students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
The award is not given in any regular, repeating time-period, but only when truly outstanding candidates are identified by the Dean of the College, with approval by the college Executive Committee.
