Peer Mentoring
The First Year Experience Peer Mentoring Program provides students dynamic, focused peer-mentoring relationships with fellow College of Pharmacy students. Furthermore, the Peer Mentoring Program serves to connect students to the college through a rich variety of experiences shaped by their individual needs, as they transition into college life.
Required Participation from Mentors and Mentees:
- Weekly check-in meetings
- Monthly group events
Mentee Benefits
- Develop a sense of belonging in the college community
- Increase curricular and co-curricular collaborative interactions with other students, faculty and staff, and demonstrate a better understanding of differences and similarities among people
- Advance awareness of college resources and career opportunities
